Location and route
Plan a short route around Fabricator. Check oxygen, tool power, food, water, and open inventory slots before leaving. When Distraction Flare is found, return and sort it with related materials so the next recipe is faster to finish.
Uses and crafting value
Use Distraction Flare for predator distraction, co-op recovery. If it is part of an electronics or ingot chain, keep some raw ingredients unprocessed until the exact recipe is pinned in-game.
Risk and farming notes
Carry one for risky scans, not for normal shallow farming. Early Access recipes can change, so verify the current Fabricator, Habitat Builder, or module interface before spending rare materials. In co-op, assign one player to resource calls and one to storage so duplicate runs do not waste oxygen.
